Selective Laser Sintering

Selectively Laser Sintering is a process where powdery base material is fused layer by layer using a laser.

Here, too, the basis is a very fine powder. In contrast to powder printing, the material is not bound by a binder but melted with the help of a laser beam. The quality and applications are comparable to those of powder printing. The parts are somewhat more stable directly after the printing process and thus easier to post-process. The models can only be printed in a single color.
